An important Dallas music culture to me is the radio station 89.7 Power FM. They have been my favorite radio station since I discovered them. Power FM is a Christian rock station that plays most of my favorite bands. Due to the fact that they are a user supported station, they do not play a lot of commercials. They do have some devotionals time to time, and until recently they had a section for Christian music requests. They also stream the station for listeners not in Dallas. Their station is located in Dallas west of Sherman. I listen to Power FM all the time as I drive to and from UTD and just about any place. I love this station and hope that many more may enjoy it as well.
